Online Course – Job Searching in LIS Fields
Looking for work is challenging, and you don’t have to do it alone. Take this class to find structure and community in your job search. It will help you clarify what you are looking for, sharpen your application documents (e.g. CV, resume, cover letter), find a process that works for you, and maintain your mental and physical health. It is appropriate for both new and seasoned LIS workers.
Suggested: $200. No one turned away for lack of funds – if money’s tight, you can always come back and square up with me when it isn’t.

I’ve curated or created a lot of helpful resources while exploring hiring and getting hired in library and information services fields over the last decade plus.
In addition to posting individual survey responses that share the candid opinions of thousands of job hunters and people who hire, I’ve profiled websites, posted summaries of research, chatted with coaches, and asked so many questions about LIS careers.
